greenroom Trademark and Brand Policy
The greenroom name, logo, wordmark, app icon, domain names, product screenshots,
visual identity, and distinctive product look and feel are reserved by Yunyue
Li.
Allowed Uses
You may:
- refer to the open-source project as “greenroom Community Edition”
- state that a tool is “compatible with the greenroom workspace format” if it
implements the public workspace contract
- link to the official project or documentation
- use the name in factual, non-misleading technical discussion
Restricted Uses
You may not, without written permission:
- use the greenroom name, logo, icon, or wordmark for a competing product or
hosted service
- imply that your project is official, endorsed, or operated by greenroom
- use greenroom brand assets in app icons, marketing pages, screenshots, or
store listings
- register confusingly similar domains, packages, products, or social accounts
- copy the official product visual identity in a way that confuses users
Forks and compatible tools should use their own names and visual identity. A
clear phrase such as “compatible with the greenroom workspace format” is
acceptable; presenting the fork as the official greenroom product is not.
